Contact us →How do I find the right filter for my fridge?
The model number is printed on the filter you are replacing, for example EDR1RXD1, DA29-00020B or LT1000P. Search that number at the top of this page. If the old filter is gone, find your refrigerator's model number on the plate inside the door and email it to us, and we will match it for you.
How often should I replace my refrigerator water filter?
Manufacturers generally recommend every six months, or about 200 gallons, whichever comes first. Replace it sooner if the water slows down or starts to taste or smell different.
Are these genuine filters or compatible replacements?
We sell both, and each product page says which one it is. Genuine cartridges come from the manufacturer, such as Samsung, LG, GE, Kenmore or Frigidaire. Compatible cartridges are made to the same specification and cost less.
How much is shipping and how long does delivery take?
Shipping is free on every order inside the USA. Orders are processed in 1 to 3 business days, and standard delivery then takes 3 to 5 business days. We currently ship to US addresses only.
What if I order the wrong filter?
You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. The filter needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we send a prepaid return label, so return shipping costs you nothing. Email contact@filtersdepot.store with your order number.
Do multi-packs work out cheaper?
Yes. Most filters come in packs of one, two or three, and the price per filter drops as the pack gets bigger. Because each cartridge lasts around six months, a 3-pack covers about 18 months.
